I am a second year NERC DTP DPhil student researching host-parasite dynamics using European mistletoe (Viscum album) as a study species, in close collaboration with The Tree Council. I aim to understand how and why mistletoes persist on a variety of hosts, how mistletoe-host relationships will change into the future and what this could mean for management. I'm also interested in answering broad questions about life history ecology and evolution across a range of taxa, especially via demographic modelling.
